Durga Puja celebrations organized by the Bengali Association of Defence Colony, and held at the Durga Puja Park, its original venue, earlier closed to the public during covid through Navratris in Oct. Once again the Park reverberated with the auspicious sounds of conches prayers and dhakias before decorated pandal with the victorious Mother Goddess in all her splendour showering blessings on her worshippers throughout the 9 days to culminating in the traditional Sindur Khela by married women to bidding the Mother Goddess a tearful goodbye on her immersion and till her arrival next year again.
