Like every year, this time Club 5 arranged Durga Pooja on a large scale. Maa Durga’s magnificent and attractive statue was established on 20th November, and as Covid is over, there was no restriction for the public. Everybody was free to offer Pooja. Everyday morning and evening Pooja was performed and a big crowd attended it all three days. Dashmi was the day for “Sindoor Khela”and visarjan. All Bengali ladies were in white sari with a broad red border and red blouses. They looked elegant with red bindi and red sindoor on their forehead.
On the 24th night, Raavan vadh took place, and a big of devotees attended it.
