Noida Authority on request of RWCS has started the process of cleaning the drains and manholes of the sector. It has also started replacing the drain covers (slabs). This work has started in D-Block and the entire sector will be covered by the end of the financial year, according to a senior RWCS member. While the RWCS requested 1500 slabs for the whole sector, NOIDA Authority has passed the first tender of 250 slabs for the D-Block. On completion of this job, the other tenders will be passed and the work will be started in other blocks.
