See, your lords who you worshipped a day before are being thrown so thoughtlessly on the roads, under the peepul trees. It is heartbreaking to see framed pictures of Gods being shamelessly thrown away in the garbage. Why can’t they be given a decent farewell by relocating them or reusing them by getting them framed in a new frame. When will we learn to reduce our garbage throwing and our possessions and gifts. However, all these have got cleared by great efforts of PERA Executive Ladies. A respectful disposal plan for Diwali used articles was offered by Nishu Jain. Cardboard boxes were kept at various places and the residents were informed. Lot of residents put disposable murtis, marigold used flowers and materials used for Diwali in those cardboard boxes. This way a neat and a systematic throwing away of the used/unused deities was done. Many more such proposals for disposal of electronic wastes are now being formulated. Let us keep our colony “Neat and clean”.
