A heartfelt initiative has taken root in DLF Phase 2 as residents come together for a cause close to their hearts. Meenu Ji, Rajan Ji, Ashok Ji, and the Hanuman Chalisa Group pledged to liberate their community from the sight of broken idols of revered deities two years ago. Their campaign urges everyone to avoid haphazardly discarding these sacred symbols but bid them farewell respectfully with Gangajal and Akshat.
Adding to this noble cause, post Diwali this team alongside Vipin Yadav gathered thousands of discarded idols from roadsides, emphasising the reverence these idols deserve in a separate campaign. Yadav’s plea in a video message echoes the sentiment that discarding idols in an undignified manner is a disservice to faith and tradition. He urges residents to reach out for proper Vedic rituals for their disposal.
This collective effort aims to restore dignity to these symbols of faith and ensure the sanctity of the community, urging everyone to part ways with these idols in a respectful and dignified manner.
Despite the earnest appeals, there persists a regrettable trend of discarding idols in an undignified manner, highlighting the need for continued awareness and respect towards these revered symbols.
