I’m thrilled to share the impressive enthusiasm and commitment of DLF Phase 2 residents during this voting season. Voter turnout reached a notable 54%, reflecting strong community participation. Many teenagers cast their first votes, with some choosing NOTA for better candidates, while others strongly supported their chosen parties.
Despite the scorching heat, dedicated residents stepped out to vote, with a few even volunteering to provide water for those in long queues. The elderly also made significant efforts to participate, with some arriving in wheelchairs, reflecting their unwavering dedication to civic duty and successfully casting their votes.
First-time voters were particularly enthusiastic and had strong opinions on the importance of voting. After speaking to residents, it was clear that opinions varied across different blocks, influenced by their day-to-day experiences.
Conversations revealed mixed experiences: some enjoyed a smooth voting process with no queues, while others faced challenges due to the intense heat and long waits. Regardless, the eagerness of DLF Phase 2 residents to vote was clear, highlighting their determination and setting a commendable example for future elections.
