On October 27th, Niharika Manchanda, a Silver Oaks resident, hosted a delightful Diya painting workshop at the community center.
A fun, intergenerational experience kids and senior citizens gathered to unleash their creativity, transforming plain diyas into vibrant masterpieces. There were different designs and sizes of diyas (big and small).
Not only kids but many senior ladies also came to participate. Many moms who came to drop the kids were lured to paint the diyas. It was a therapeutic painting experience. Everyone did their creativity and the end products were so many unique, handmade diyas ready to illuminate homes.
This workshop brought together residents, fostering creativity, socialization, and festive cheer.
Thank you, Niharika, for organizing this wonderful initiative!
