With full zeal and enthusiasm, KT11-16 residents got together to distribute Diwali sweets to the support staff including Housekeeping, Security (both shifts), FMG, Gardeners etc. Even during COVID, a “Tali Bajao-Thali Bajao” program had been conducted thanking the staff with gifts like tiffin, pedestal fans, water coolers, refrigerators, wall clocks and more.
The idea was mooted by Kumkum Sinha and Rashmi Sethi. Within minutes, wholehearted support came from Vishakha Badhani, Surinder Jaswal, Priya Kalra, Veenu Arora, Shalini Mathur, Renu Gupta, Meena Sharma, Sunita Khurana and others.
The support staff was not just given sweets for their consumption but also given high quality, branded packaged sweets to carry home to their families. On Tuesday, 29 October, sweets were distributed by Ritu Sharma, Ritu Khanna, Ruby Bainwal, Padma Hardi, Kavita Rajan, Charu Mahajan, Khushboo Bisht, Amrita Verma, Esha Agrawal and, for the night shift, by Manju Sharma.
The staff supervisors thanked the residents for this kind gesture and assured to work even harder. Glad to share that even our IRP – Shri Bhuvan Madan conveyed his Diwali greetings to all the residents and their families and also appreciated the residents’ gesture of caring for the staff.
