At the Delhi State Council for Women in NFC, the management which is an absolute energetic group of inspiring women came together to organize a vibrant Diwali Mela, creating a beautiful space for community celebration, creativity, and empowerment. The event was a delightful blend of tradition, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit, showcasing the talents and skills of local artisans, creativity of the underprivileged, talent of pickle making, biscuit and cake baking, application of mehndi etc. It was a festive atmosphere filled with colorful decorations and the aroma of delicious food. Stalls featured handmade crafts, traditional clothing, and a variety of festive sweets, all created by women entrepreneurs who poured their passion into their work. This mela not only celebrated Diwali but also highlighted the creativity and resilience of women in the community. It seemed that the heart of the Diwali Mela was the goal of empowering women. By providing a platform for these talented individuals, the mela aimed to promote their businesses and foster a supportive network. Attendees shopped for unique gifts and décor, plants, household goods, paintings, woollens etc. To support entrepreneurs.
