That a cracker of an evening it was at the Malibu Towne Country Club!
26 th Oct , 7 pm and the eager residents started pouring into the beautifully decked-up club premises. A Ladies, children, and gentlemen all adorned in their festive attires brought the club lawns alive. Lehangas jostling with flowing sarees offset by the occasional kurta pyjama of many a gentleman lent the perfect festive note to the evening. The first flurry of steps was seen heading towards the mouth-watering food stalls. The crispy kulchas, the tikkas, the dhabeli, the Bengali food, and the kulfi tucked into a happy belly.
The crowd visited the stalls selling candles and ethnic attire. While the bar overflowed with cheerful spirits, the crowds were seen happily mingling with friends and family.
A bumper Tambola game got the evening started, and soon the DJ turned up the volume when our fashion divas sashayed the ramp, wowing the audience with their grace and style. And when the crowd finally hit the dance floor, there was no stopping them. The dance floor saw some truly happy foot-tapping, and while the youngsters were living it up, there was one couple who raised the bar for some energetic dancing. Yes, our senior couple, the Minochas, set the floor on fire with their graceful moves. It was an evening to remember.
