Mahagun Morpheus hosted its annual Diwali Mela, on 26 October, with grand enthusiasm and a vibrant array of activities. The whole society was lit up with festive lights marking the start of an unforgettable evening. The festivities began with the lighting of lamps by senior residents and a Ganesh mantra, casting a warm glow across the entire society.
The central lawns transformed into a bustling fairground with various stalls offering delicious chaat, festive goodies, games, and handicrafts. The aroma of street food and the sound of laughter filled the air, making it a true feast for the senses.
The evening’s cultural program hosted by Ruchika Jain and Sonu Rathore, supported by Gunjan and Madhvi, was a resplendent showcase of talent and tradition. A captivating Ramayan skit performed by children and adults mesmerized everyone, narrating the epic tale of Lord Rama. Following the skit, an energetic and fun-filled round of Antakshari had everyone singing and dancing to their favorite songs.
Ladies of society then took the centre stage with a dazzling dance performance, showcasing their grace and enthusiasm. The fashion show that followed featured residents of all ages, dressed in their finest traditional attire, adding glamour to the evening.
One of the most anticipated events was the lucky draw, with exciting prizes that brought smiles to the winners’ faces. As the night progressed, a sumptuous dinner was served that gave an opportunity for everyone to enjoy a delicious meal together.
The celebration concluded with a DJ dance party, where residents danced to lively tunes under the starlit sky, ending the day on a high note. The entire Diwali festivity was a huge success enabling residents to meet and greet during the most divine festival.
