Wisterian Ladies Club celebrated Diwali function on 15th October 2022 with grand pomp and show. This grand event took place in Prateek Wisteria’s club.
Diwali is festival of light, the triumph of good over evil and light over dark. “Tamso maa Jyotirmaya” which means lead me to light from darkness. This year, the club wound up its Diwali bash early wherein it had some interesting games, DJs, bumper Tambola, music and dance. The club was beautifully decorated with flowers, lights, colourful accessories and selfie point. All ladies were dressed up in colourful and beautiful indian attire.
It started with Ganesh Vandana by club core team followed by punctuality game for members who came on time. It was a dice game. All ladies enjoyed event’s main attraction “Rajasthan folk dance” which was very beautifully performed by club members. Hot snacks with cold drinks were served to all ladies. After that it was time for ‘Bumper Tambola’ game. Many big prizes were there for ladies to try their luck. All were very excited and enjoyed a lot.
Club members whose birthday falls on October month were greeted with birthday song and small bunch of flowers.
One very interesting game of chess board and coins was there in which ladies had to put coins of 5 Rupees and 1 Rupee on chess board in a particular manner within half a minute. All ladies eagerly participated in the interesting game.
Then came the best part of the event ‘dance on DJ’. All ladies were so excited and they danced a lot.
Lastly, grand and delicious dinner with lots of variety was served to make the evening memorable. It was very entertaining funfilled evening.
