As we all know “Diwali” is better known as the “Festival of Lights” and is one of the most celebrated festivals where everyone gets together to celebrate with full vigour. So, in order have residents get together, NFC RWA (Ashoka Park) organized a ‘DIWALI MELA’ which was attended by several residents. Since the morning of the mela, the air was filled with excitement as preparations were in full swing. As the sun set and the evening approached…. the B-Block Skating Rink Park was adorned with colorful flower decoration at the entrance with vibrant flowers and twinkling fairy lights. The entrance had an idol of the Goddess for residents to seek blessings as soon as they entered the park. The aroma of delicious festive food wafted through the air with hot jalebi, kulfi and savory snacks prepared in abundance. As darkness fell, the real magic began with the sky coming alive with NOT THE BURST OF CRACKERS, BUT with HOT AIR LAMPS which were lit by the residents and which soared high into the sky. Residents and friends exchanged greetings, reinforcing bonds and creating cherished memories. It was a night of laughter, joy and togetherness.
A Message of Hope that NFC RWA (Ashoka Park) would like to send to readers of Samvada is to spread positivity and kindness. As you light your diyas, let them symbolize hope and a brighter future. This year, consider sharing your blessings with those less fortunate, embodying the true spirit of the festival.Wishing you a joyful and prosperous Diwali !
