This year a lot of confusion was circling around which day to celebrate Diwali, perform rituals and invite Goddess Laxmi to our abode. Although kids celebrated Diwali on the 30th itself, Diwali was celebrated on the 31st. The condo was all well lit with fairy lights.
Most of the residents were travelling but the remaining post performing pooja came to the main road along with their families to burst crackers or capture the joy of celebration. However, the animals had a tough time coping with the noise of crackers as it scared them.
Meanwhile, all were well dressed in traditional clothes.
Slowly all receded back to their homes to relish yummy food with family and friends.
The celebration slowly turned out to be quiet as the night approached with few crackers bursting at far off sights.
Hope all had a beautiful Diwali.
