One morning, mid-September, I was out for a walk at 5:30 am, as usual, within the Supertech Emerald Court society. While I almost completed my walking, I thought let’s go outside the Supertech Emerald Court society for a small walk.
It was then, when I started from Gate no. 2 and crossed the road, that I had this experience about which I could not help from sharing in Samv-ada, a community magazine, for others in the sector to feel how I felt.
I was thinking to walk till the end of road and come back home. However, when I realized that both sides of the road had too much dirt and accumulated garbage that it was hard to walk.
There is a Free Toilet facility nearby and one gentleman was there. I stopped and asked him, “Does anyone come here to clean the road?” and his answer was “No”. I was really surprised to know his answer!
I wondered, is this the neighourhood road, we are living in? It was very dirty, nasty and filthy. I returned to my society immediately, without wasting time anymore. But the worried mind kept thinking about the future of this area…
Its not enough that we only keep our society premises clean. We all should come forward to have our entire Sector 93A clean.
