The much-awaited India vs Pakistan cricket match in the ICC Champions Trophy group stage, held in Dubai on 24 February, and the final clash of India vs New Zealand on 09 March, where India won the Champions Trophy, brought an electrifying atmosphere to ATS Greens 1.
This was the first-ever live cricket match screening experience for ATS Greens 1 residents, and participation was overwhelming as neighbours came together to cheer for team India. Residents gathered to witness the thrilling encounter on a specially installed Big Digital Screen in the central lawn. The excitement was at its peak as cricket fans eagerly awaited the high-intensity clash, both times, creating an atmosphere full of anticipation, energy, and passion.
The excitement was vibrant and stadium-like, filled with passionate cheers, chants, and celebrations as every ball bowled and every run scored added to the thrill. Children were equally engrossed, cheering loudly whenever the opponents’ wickets fell, making the experience even more memorable. As the tension built, the energy among the residents soared, with fans breaking into loud chants of “India! India!” after every milestone.
The screening turned into a festival-like celebration as residents enjoyed the match while relishing delicious snacks and refreshments arranged by the organizers, ensuring everyone indulged in the match without missing a moment. The biggest highlight of the India vs Pakistan evening was Virat Kohli’s phenomenal performance, as many had been eagerly waiting for him to regain his form. Every boundary he struck sent waves of excitement and joy through the audience, with residents clapping, high-fiving, and celebrating each moment.
