The Commission for Air Quality Management had set out mandates for diesel generators (DG) in 2023. All DG sets in AOH must be converted to dual fuel mode with Retrofitted with Emission Control Devices.
To comply with this, AOA BOM & Facilities have been working on the emission guidelines for the last few months. In GBMs, the staggered approach & expenses were approved for conversion. The installation of dual fuel kits on the DG sets has been completed.
A change in IFMS agency was also approved in the GBM. Enviro will be taking over from Nimbus from Monday, 15 January. After an extensive selection process, Enviro was chosen because of its better processes, builder background, better SMEs, ISO – certified services and scale in Noida.
The transition process is underway. As Enviro assumes its responsibilities, and as with any transition, there may be initial hiccups. Residents are requested to highlight issues through NBH or email.
Lastly, while December saw the Christmas Carnival being organised, the Cultural Committee is now working towards the celebration of the प्राण प्रतिष्ठा ceremony of श्री राम.
