Finally the much talked about, debated and one of the hottest topic of Def Col “Desilting of Nallah” has finally started with the efforts of our councillor Anita Sandeep Baisoya.
The work was started in her presence and Sandeepji and JE maintenance Mr Vivek and RWA President Veena Khanna from the South Delhi Public School end.
In the first phase open drain will be desilted and then the work will be taken up phase wise by using JCB. In the second phase small JCB will be put into service to go into the covered end.
Super succour machines will also be used where required (specially near the club).
Councillor madam also stated that this exercise will be done twice in a year. This desilting will not only save residents from foul smell (which used to come due stagnated water and no more houses will become boat houses in C and D blocks.
