Making Our Colony Malba Free!
Malba dumping specially in back lanes and secluded areas of the colony has become a major issue. Be it Malba or green waste residents find a cheaper alternative through rickshaw pullers who either dump malba in the green area near the nallah or near Dhalaos.
In a great initiative by Councillor Anita Sandeep Basoya and Sandeep Basoya a designated area has been marked in the sanitation office store next to the gumbad where residents can come and dump their malba from 10 am to 5pm. Without paying anything extra this malba will be tendered and picked up periodically.
NO MALBA in trucks from builders will be accepted here. This is only for residents who do renovation and need to get rid of the malba.
Mrs Basoya has also stated that from now any malba dumped in the back lane will be shown no leniency and would be challaned by the concerned dept.
Hope this initiative is used by residents to make our colony malba free.
