Dr Pooja Wadhwa of Kumar Dental Clinic (A 196) organised a dental camp on May 28, 2024, to raise awareness about the oral health of women. This camp with the Abhaya Women Dental Council on the occasion of the International Day for Action on Women’s Health. Besides a screening on oral health, talks & quizzes were held. There was a good response to the camp, with not only senior citizens but also mothers coming in with their kids. As per Dr Pooja, people should schedule a dental checkup twice a year (just like a health checkup), as oral health can impact other bodily systems too.
