As part of the continuous festivities at the Happening Joint better known as DCAs Club a Live Pipe Band performance was organised on 16 Feb. It was a memorable event for the humongous crowd of residents of Def Col who attended in large numbers. Having an elite Band of the Central Armed Police Forces, which participated in the prestigious events like the Republic Day Parade and the Beating of the Retreat added a lot of enthusiasm and fervor amongst the children and the elderly alike. It was an extravaganza to see the Pipers perform continuously for 3 hours nonstop with a gusto full Residents audience joining in foot tapping symphony.
The live food counters of mouthwatering dishes added a delightful culinary experience complementing the music and festivities comprehensively. It was fantastic to see that people were able to let loose their hair, dance to the beats of the drums, and fully immerse themselves in the joyous occasion.
The Event was a huge success and the craving for more was acceded by the RWA to announce that the Police Brass Band would be invited for a Performance post 15 Mar 2024 once the exams of the school going students are over. Looking forward to arranging mode such fiestas for our Residents.
