On 23rd November 2023, Deputy commissioner MCD, Dr Naveen Aggarwal (IAS) visited Anand Lok with the Councillor Smt Anita Basoya and the members of MCD work team.
He visited the Wet waste composting Area in the park where the compost is being made. He himself inspected and appreciated that we are successfully able to convert the entire wet waste of our colony into compost and we are a zero waste colony. This was used for our parks and was shared with the residents as well. He asked Ms Sumera Salim to help the neighbouring colonies also to accomplish this task.
He was also shown the centre area of Park no 1 which was earlier very uneven and full of weeds. Sumera Salim with contribution from the MC, her efforts and contribution from various other sources converted it into a beautiful green area with lush green grass in the center and flower beds around it. The development work in the centre area of the park is an on going process and still needs supports in all means time, effort and money. All the efforts were praised by Dr. Naveen Agarwal and his team and he offered an extra help by his Team in terms of trimming of hedges and trees in the Park.
