Mrs Vadhera, welcomed her 70’s in a heartfelt and wholesome style. Her daughters arranged a lunch for her friends in the Carlton lawns where they treated their mother to a bouquet of flowers and a very appetizing cake.
As I peaked through my balcony I saw a group of ladies singing song, and sharing a good bonhomie under the sun on a cold winter day surrounded by the very picturesque lawns. The daughter pampered their mother and her friends with piping hot pizzas and played a round of games.
It was an endearing moment, to watch two daughters celebrate their mother’s 70 grand 70 the way their mother wanted to- with her close friends. Sparing an entire afternoon to play host to 16 ladies and ensuring they have fun took priority over conference calls and meetings.
As a daughter and spectator to the entire afternoon, I was left feeling all warm and fuzzy and I am sure it is a birthday Mrs Vadhera will never forget.
