earlier scheduled for 29 January, was postponed due to the imposition of Section 144 in our district. It will now be held on Sunday, 12 February. On this day, Meghdutam Rangmanch brings you the following events:
1.Book Sharing – giveaways and takeaways (all languages, all age groups, and all kinds of books). Display your books and loan, exchange or simply give them away to booklovers.
2. Exhibit Rare and Cherished Books in your collection. Here is an exciting opportunity to discuss with other book lovers your favourite authors, titles you have read or are reading.
3. Donate Books to Public Libraries. Your books will get a new lease of life, and will be read by many others, instead of being scrapped.
4. Creative Writing Workshop conducted by children’s author and publisher, Richa Jha; for ages 10 and above. Immerse yourself into the world of creative writing under Richa’s guidance. Richa Jha is a children’s author and runs a multi-award-winning independent publishing house.
5. Music in the Park. Starting in the evening at 5.00 pm, this curated program of music celebrates Basant (the arrival of spring and Valentine’s Day).
The soon-to-be circulated flyer will carry the link for registering for the above events. Whatsapp 9899437350 to join the mailing list of Meghdutam Rangmanch.
