Festivals bring a sense of joy and happiness in our life every year. This year, it’s all the more special as the festive spirit is back after a gap of two long years in our life.
So moving on …….. Sector 92 celebrated the Navratris with passion and love, fasting and doing Pooja all day. Each day Mata ki Chowki was held in different houses of the sector and everyone joined in the celebrations.
The Dandiya night was organised at the Community Centre with lots of enthusiasm and zeal. The lawn area was covered by multi-coloured canopy of frills and buntings. The huge pandal was lighted with multi-coloured lights and the entire community centre looked as all decked-up bride.
The music filled the ambiance with lots of zeal and fun. The sweet fragrance of incense sticks added freshness to the evening. The Dandiya evening began with Pooja of Maa Vaishnodevi with flowers and kum kum, followed by Aarti singing the praise of the deity.
The ladies were dressed in best of their attire in bright vibrant colors. The men in their traditional kurta pyjamas looked suave and ready to party. Then the evening came alive with the Dandiya and Garba dance. Everyone joined the group with Dandiya and their best moves. Children and adults all took part in dance, fun and frolic.
A plethora of mouth-watering snacks were lined up for all to relish, which was a huge hit with the crowd. The mouth-watering tikki took the best snack award and was a huge hit.
The weather was humid but that did not dampen the spirit of our Dandiya lovers. Even in this extreme condition many continued with dance and festivities. It was till late at night the music went on and ladies enjoyed to the max.
We look forward now to Diwali festivities in our Sector-92.
