Thief Seems To Be Same Person As Previous Theft in SC-1
A theft happened at Retreat on 1st June. Ivory resident Dr. Sweetha reported the theft of her daughter’s cycle which was stolen in broad daylight. The CCTV footage was checked where a young man in green striped Tshirt was seen loitering around the cycle parking area and then casually picking up the cycle and taking it away. This was all recorded on our security cameras. The picture was shown to the house helps and staff who stay in the close vicinity. However, no one could identify the boy.
We found a strong resemblance between the boy involved in art theft which took place at artist Satish Gupta’s house in E Block and the Ivory cycle thief. Upon sharing the pictures with Dr. Sweetha and a few others including the Samvada team, we all concluded that keeping in mind the height, physique, hairstyle etc. this could be the same person. The photographs were shared with police to find out if some connection or the pictures could help find out the guy.
The photograph is being shared here again to create awareness, being alert and aware to help avoid future thefts.
