On the occasion of Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on 22 January, each multi-storied society and houses celebrated the event in their own unique way collectively and individually. The cultural committee of The Forest Spa, Sector-93B, planned to celebrate the entire day. A day earlier, a Kalash Yatra was organized in the complex.
In the morning of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, the residents of the Spa gathered for the completion of Shri Ramayan path at 9 am. This was followed by havan, at 10 am, with the participation of all. The religious fervour could be felt all around the complex. At 11 am, before the live telecast of Pran Pratishtha ceremony live from Ayodhya, a presentation on Ram was given by children. These are children from around the societies who are taken care by the Nar Narayan Nyas trust formed by residents of all the Omaxe societies of Sector 92 and 93B; they are taught the basics and given healthy diet in the 2-classroom space provided by Panchsheel Balak Inter College, Sector-91. They performed a skit, ‘Aaju Avadh Anand Bhayo Hai’, which was highly appreciated.
After the live telecast of the ceremony, which was an emotional moment for the devotees, Bhandara was served as Prasad at around 1 pm.
Evening was lit up with diyas, as part of the Deepotsav scheduled for 6 pm. Before the Bhajan Sandhya, scheduled at 7pm, there was cultural performance by the children. The highlight was a special Kathak dance performances on Shri Ram’s bhakti songs presented by dancers kids of Saniddhya, a gurukul for performing arts, and choreographed by well-known artist of Doordarshan; Govt. of India and Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee, Guru Shikha Khare – a senior disciple of legendary Guru Pt. Birju Maharaj, a Padma Vibhushan awardee.
The Kathak dance artists celebrated an auspicious evening by their performance on Janam-badhay of Lord Shri Ram based on technical aspect of Kathak dance. The artists, Ms Khare’s disciples, were Aanvi Aarya, Ana, Lavanya, Aksha, Anika, Anushi, Tavishi from Noida.
The culmination of the day-long celebration was the mesmirising bhajans, a beautiful ending of the eventful function. The evening Bhandara saw the residents happy and satisfied within; the cultural committee received appreciation for organizing the event.
