The night of Tuesday, 31 December 2024 was a memorable one for the residents of Espacia as they gathered in the central lawn to bid adieu to the outgoing year and welcome 2025 with open arms.
Despite the chilly winter weather, the residents turned out in large numbers, dressed in their warmest and most stylish winter attire.
The celebrations kicked off with Divine Swaranks, a live band performance that had everyone grooving to the retro tunes of Bollywood. The singers belted out hit after hit, taking the audience on a nostalgic journey through the decades.
The crowd sang along, tapping their feet and clapping to the beat.
To keep the energy levels up, a variety of delicious food stalls were set up, offering a range of mouth-watering options. The scrumptious spread, provided by the community’s own Lhasa’s Kitchen and Dad’s Treat added another layer of enjoyment to the evening.
From the spicy tang of Golgappa to the savoury delight of momos, Tikki chaat, and Chhole Bhature, there was something for every palate. The aroma of food wafted through the air teased the taste buds.
As the clock struck 11 PM, the live band made way for the DJ, who took over the stage with a high-energy set that got everyone on their feet. The dance floor was opened to all; Espacians of all ages let loose, dancing to the peppy numbers and ringing in the new year with joy and abandon.
As the countdown began, the excitement reached a fever pitch. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause as the clock struck midnight, marking the beginning of a brand-new year. The night sky was filled with the sound of laughter, music, and celebration, as the residents of Espacia welcomed 2025 with open hearts and minds.
