Samvada News Bureau
In earlier Samvada (August), we had reported the following: About the two milk dairies on the green belt in C Block, one closer to the Neo Hospital has already been vacated and the other one is being vacated to-day (8 August).
Subsequently, both the milk dairies opposite Neo Hospital at the end of lane of houses from C 119 to C 165 have since shut shop and moved out.
The current scene is – the landlords are at the moment in the process of building shops for commercial activities, something like neighbou-rhood shopping needs. Seeing this construction activity, residents of this particular C-block lane are having anxiety that in times to come their peace will be disturbed with the movement of traffic with people frequenting these shops.
These residents are apprehensive that the Noida Authority may not be able to control this upcoming nuisance that the to-and-fro traffic to these shops would generate.
The construction of the second building of Neo hospital is going on at a fast speed, the tower rising high each day. Some say that the space on roadside will be used by the visitors to the hospital. It can be that the hospital may manage some space on this side and make it their parking.
Time will tell what actually takes shape, but for now it is a matter of concern for the C-block residents. A sense of despondency on seeing the construction of the shops on the dairy land and thought of the situation when the hospital’s second tower too gets functional is upsetting for them.
One thing for sure – the narrow road between the shops and Neo Hospital will witness utter chaos, jams and honking which is not conducive to a peaceful residential living or to the tranquility a hospital zone requires.
