On January 22 The country witnessed a grand event at Ayodhya, the consecration of Ram Temple amid a set of special invitees in attendance at this township in Uttar Pradesh.
Thousands of pilgrims visited the temple city from Jan 25 onwards. These included a series of special trains with BJP party workers providing ground support to those desirous of undertaking the journey to pay respects at the newly constructed Ram Temple.
Closer home, Ramchritmanas paath was recited by devotees daily at A block mandir from 6:30pm to 8:30pm daily from 1st Jan till 21st January. Homemade Prasad and tea was distributed to devotees by participants.
On the auspicious day of Paush Shuklapaksha Dwadashi, Vikrami Samvat 2080 Mon (22 Jan 2024), the child form (new idol) of Lord Shri Ram was installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the new temple being built on his birthplace and will be consecrated. On this auspicious occasion residents with family and friends, visited Shri Shiv Shakti mandir to witness this historical moment and receive the blessings of Lord Shri Ram.
Ramcharit Manas Path recited every day evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. On 20th and 21st Jan, Prabhat Pheri from the temple at 6:30 am. Havan on 22nd January at 10 am.
On January 22, at 11 am, the live telecast of the establishment of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya was shown on the big screen. At the end Ladoo prasad was distributed.
