Shampa Moitra, a resident of Ivory Tower, The Retreat, was awarded for her captivating tulip photography during the Delhi Tulip Festival. The festival, organized by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) in collaboration with the Netherlands embassy, ran from 10thFebruary to 21st February. To celebrate the festival, the NDMC planted over two lakh tulip bulbs imported from Holland along Shantipath. They also invited photography enthusiasts to capture the beauty of the blooms. On February 22nd, a jury selected the most impressive photographs and awarded prizes to the winners. ShampaMoitra was felicitated as a winner by NDMC Chairman Sh Amit Yadav and Agriculture Counsellor of the Netherlands Embassy, Sh Michiel van Erkel.
