The new year 2024 brings good news for Gurgaon residents as State Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kushal announced in one of the meetings that the Haryana Government is going to introduce a comprehensive policy for the installation of gas (CNG/PNG) pipeline within a specified time frame. It is a proactive step towards streamlining procedures and ensuring efficient and timely permissions for advancing the development of gas infrastructure in the city.
The proposed policy will primarily concentrate on granting authorisation for pipeline installations. the basic objective is to expand gas demand and utilisation across domestic households, commercial establishments, industrial facilities and the transport sector.
Gurgaon residents have been struggling for the last 2 years with the local gas distribution Company for the installation of a gas pipeline network in various sectors. Let us hope that with this policy we shall soon see a metered pipeline in our kitchens.
