The Noida Authority had some time back, dug up deep pits in the parks of the sector to collect green waste and turn it into compost. But now these pits are filled with garbage and in the rainy season, water gets accumulated in these pits and is seeping into the basements of adjacent houses. The residents have asked the authorities to fill these pits so that their basements are not flooded.
