In a bid to foster a stronger sense of community, residents of Sector B 7 come together to establish a new Residents Welfare Association (RWA). The Annual General Meeting was convened at B7 on 10th September, 2023, where the new team was elected unopposed to lead this initiative, marking a significant step towards improving the quality of life in the neighborhood.
As a follow up by the declaration of the results of the elections of RWA wide notification of the RO reference RWA B7/ 10/0923/63 the below mentioned office bearers for the year 2023-24 were elected:
Patron – Mr. Manoj Mehlawat, President – Mr. Jai Sharma, Vice President – Ms. Seema Mehlawat, General Secretary – Ms. Sujata Agrawal, Treasurer – Ms. Ranjna Bhardwaj, Executive Members:
Mr. Gulshan Chanana, Mr. Gulshan K Wasson, Mr. Manoj Sehgal, Mr. Neeraj Tokas, Ms. Rachna Sharma, Mr. Rajesh K Jain, Mr. Satyajeet Biswas, Co-Opted Members – Ms. Shilpa Hindocha.
The AGM was attended by residents who appreciated the work and developments carried out by the RWA. The General Secretary listed out the developmental works which were successfully completed. In addition, with the support and encouragement of the residents, a new RWA office has been constructed which caters as a fantastic meeting point andas B7 does not have a separate community hall or recreation center, this office can extend such facility to all the residents.
Lastly, the newly formed RWA aims to bring residents together, enabling them to voice their concerns. It aims to work collectively towards positive changes along with ensuring the safety and security of residents as a priority.
