Colony Wide De-Clogging of the Manholes

This month, we initiated a Colony wide, end to end exercise of de-clogging the Manholes and the connecting Channels. In a massive exercise which was perhaps done for the first time since
the Colony was set up, all residents participated in the process by supervising their respective Blocks. Each and every MH was individually inspected and attended.

1. Total Number of MH – 65, 2. Approximate Malba removed cumulatively – About 750 Kgs; 3. Contents Extricated – Heavy construction chips (majority), bamboo slits, iron rods of different sizes, stone cuttings, sanitary napkins, pocha cloth, polythene etc.; 4. Manhours – About 800
