Children Performed Baal Ramayana & Untold Stories

Festival of light fast approaching the craze for Diwali melas is felt among residents as fairs are where one can have fun and do Diwali shopping.
Last few years club has been organising Diwali fair and they give stalls to their members at very nominal charges. Few lady members of the club who make paintings, rangolis, wax and scented diyas, bandarwars and sell suits bed covers and other products got a chance to sell and showcase their products.
Sixteen stalls were put up of different decorative items that were good for gifting purposes. Diyas, candles, trays, paintings, artificial jewelry and purses were the most favorite among the residents.
There was a small stage performance by the kids who take class in the club by Rupa Gupta. Children of the junior wing performed Baal Ramayana, followed by untold stories by the senior wing. Children were really enthusiastic about the show and performed with utmost confidence and zeal. The play was scripted and conceptualised by Rupa Gupta, who runs activity centre in club 26. After a great success of Ramayana now the team is preparing a glamorous Christmas Show.
Tambola game is always favorite among the elderly residents and they were seen enjoying it. Ladies were also seen getting mehandi put on their hands by a professional girl who was arranged by the club. 5 lucky draws were sponsored by President Khosla.
Lip smacking snacks were enjoyed by all.
