Cleanliness Agenda of Sushant Lok C Block

On 12th of July, RWA meeting was held at the community center; B N Gupta, advisor from SLRWA and Jitendra Kumar, sanitary inspector MCG, and Ramesh Kumar, manager of cleaning contractor MCG has assured that the cleaning drive will pace up from Monday onwards as an additional 30 members team along with JCB, dumper, tractor trolley will assist the regular sweeping and cleaning staff to clear away the vacant plots, and maintaining the streets. All the rediwallas are instructed to keep dustbins and take care of the surroundings rather than littering profusely. Contract for C and D waste has been awarded by MCG and it can be disposed off @ 155 per ton. It was a follow-up action by MCG to their meeting with the joint commissioner two days ago, Sanjay Tandon, the treasurer of SLRWA stated.

It seems the Sushant Lok is awakened to the cleaning drive as not only the RWA but the residents are also coming forward and contributing to its cleanliness. Recently Deepak Verma reported that Bodhraj Sikri, a resident of C block, president of Punjab Biradari Mahasangthan, and vice chairman of CSR Trust Haryana, will be providing the RWA with 25 labourers, 2 tractor trolleys, dumper and JCBs for three days to clean C block and to lift waste, garbage to make the surroundings clean.

A few other residents to met Neeraj, administrator of Sri Chaitanya School, to ask not to throw garbage on Rajpath and manage it simultaneously.
