Clean Water Supply Restored!

We the residents of K block 41 to 53 are thankful to our respected MLA Shri Somnath Bharti ji. We were suffering for a fortnight by getting contaminated water supply. On Saturday he along with his complete official team, RWA members and us residents were present behind U/V block for 4/5 hours in the scorching heat, to identify and investigate the cause. Due to the folly of some people the old sewage lines were completely choked and overflowing. The dirty water seeped in the ground and entered the water supply line through damaged ferol or rotten pipes of few residents. There were illegal hutments and makeshift toilets made for the workers at construction sites by the builders. They had damaged the sewage/manhole by breaking it and connecting their pipes in it. They have no right to damage the public/ govt. property. On Bhartiji’s order, it was demolished and disconnected the illegal water supply. We are grateful to all the official team members who dedicatedly worked for this. I’m also thankful to the resident group we formed in pursuing this task. At least the water is consumable now.
