For several months now, almost every alternate Saturday morning-8 AM, the Morning-walkers in our Sector-C Vatika, joined by our Saral Yoga Group mem-bers, get help from some or the other Health Specialist from the neighbouring Fortis-Vasant Kunj and/or ISIC-Spinal, by addressing our health needs.
It starts with the Topic decided and circulated all over Vasant Kunj, well in advance, in our WAPP Groups, followed by the Questions & Answer Session for about 45 minutes, with everyone present trying seek solution to their problems. Many a times, it goes on and on for more than an hour till everyone gets satisfactory response from the Guest Doctor.
Started on 10th June, last year, by Fortis – Dr. Sharwari Dua, Senior Consultant-Internal Medicine & Endocrinology with a highly useful session on Diabetes, and ever since, its continuing on various topics through such eminent specialists from Fortis, such as Dr. Tapan Ghose,Director & HOD-Cardiology, Dr Sanjeev Gulati ji, top Kidney Specalist, Dr. Gurinder Bedi ji, Top Orthopaedics, Dr. Suman Lata Nayak, Senior Nephrologist etc.etc.
In September, joined our Highly specialised ISIC-Spinal Hospital, in this noble social task, through several of their well-known Specialists/Surgeons, including Dr Vivek Mahajan ji, on Joints & Ortho Needs, Dr A.K. Sahani JI, Director-Neurology, Spine Specialists: Dr Rajat Mahajan ji, and, Dr Guru Raj ji, etc.etc…
Citizens Forum is delighted to confirm that many more such sessions are being planned for the other sector/pockets of our Vasant Kunj also, in coordination with different RWAs for the benefit of their residents. Free Consultations at their doorsteps.
