Christmas is a lively affair filled with joy and festive spirit. It is time when air resonates with the beats of fun, dance and music thereby creating a lively atmosphere that brings neighbours together in merriment. So was it in Silver City.
Sujata and friends presented a beautiful Christmas dance to add colour and vibrancy to the atmosphere. Such vitality in senior citizens – Kudos to them!
Santa Claus, adorned in his iconic red suit, became the harbinger of delight distributing sweets and spreading cheer among the residents, especially the younger ones who eagerly anticipated his arrival.
As the community gathered, the aroma of samosas and the warmth of tea permeated the air, providing a delightful culinary experience for everyone. These traditional treats serve as a culinary centerpiece, adding a touch of familiarity and comfort to the celebration.
One unique aspect of the Christmas festivities was the Garden Competition, adding a touch of friendly competition to the holiday spirit. For the competition, the residents took pride in adorning their gardens with flowers and festive decorations, transforming the neighbourhood into a radiant display of holiday magic. Prizes were awarded to the most creatively adorned gardens, fostering a sense of community and encouraging participation.
The prize winners in various categories were – Nandini Arya, Divya Misra,
Anamika, Rekha, Priya, Monica, Mishthi, Pankaj, Neha, Vikas, Shalini, Peeyush and Himanshu.
In the midst of the dance beats, the sweetness of treats, and the vibrant garden displays, our society’s Christmas celebration created lasting memories, strengthening the bonds of friendship and community spirit.
