On 25 December 2022, Grand Omaxe celebrated Christmas carnival during the day hours as it was Sunday. The Christmas tree was decorated on the Christmas Eve only, on 24 Dec. The Christmas carnival was all fun and joy for children and their parents. The Santa distributed sweets and chocolates among children and got photographed, there was a Horse carriage to take Christmas ride, games stall, shopping stalls and food stalls for residents to enjoy the winter sunny day carnival. Many children gave their performances by singing jingles, carols, playing guitar, keyboard and some enthused gave dance performances also. In the evening residents enjoyed few rounds of tambola game also and enjoyed.
All the carnival preparations were done in a very short time by resident volunteers – Anna Mehra, Dr. Gul Zehra and Harleen Kochhar. Board member and cultural convener, Harish Madan, thanked them for their sincere efforts and hard work.
The Christmas Carnival was a day full of celebration and fun for all residents and children.
