The club organized a Christmas fair on 25th December. Thanks to the bright and welcoming sun, things got going quite well by around 12.30 pm. The tables were fully occupied as people enjoyed the sunshine, drinks and a sumptuous array of food items, coupled with uplifting music. The carnival truly wore a spirited look of cheer and bonhomie, with an aesthetic and elegantly understated decoration, and a lot of red in the dresses, including the typical reindeer head wear. The excitement and visitors kept up well into the evening, braving the chill. We had 35 stalls this time besides the food ones set up by the club. Both the footfall of over 1500 and the revenue from food and beverages, set an all time record. The staff was kept on their toes and they rose to the occasion wonderfully. A good feature this time was the number of billing counters for food. This ensured that waiting time was kept to a minimum despite the crowd.
Thank you to the organizing team for putting together this grand show.
