On Wednesday, 25 December 2024, the Cultural Committee of our society organized a joyous Christmas celebration/ carnival, which was a tremendous success!
Our talented children participated in various festivities, spreading cheer and joy throughout the event. The food stalls set up for the occasion offered a delightful array of treats.
To mark the festive spirit, free cotton candy, chocolates and candies were distributed to all the children, bringing smiles to their faces.
AOA would like to thank all the participants, volunteers, and committee members who worked tirelessly to make this event a memorable one.
Our teen editor Aditri (T11) sums up her experience of the carnival –
“The spirit of Christmas came alive at our Carnival, held at the clubhouse. I found the blend of festivities, food, and fun delightful. The event drew families together to celebrate the holiday season.
The clubhouse was beautifully adorned with wreaths, festive garlands, and sparkling ornaments, setting a cheerful ambiance. I found the dance performances by the talented children spectacular. They spread joy and impressed the audience with their energy and skill.
Adding to the festive cheer were a variety of food stalls, offering delicious treats for everyone. I found the desserts of Somo Patisserie, the churros, cotton candy, and more, mouth-watering. The culinary options catered to all taste buds.
For those looking to shop, the carnival featured numerous stalls selling jewellery, toys, and other unique items, perfect for gifting or personal keepsakes. I found the outdoor setup under the winter sun truly special. Complete with laughter and camaraderie, it made the event unique.
Our Christmas Carnival brought us together in a heartwarming celebration of the season, creating memories to cherish.”
