By Over 80 Colony Children on Dussehra Eve
For the first time in DCWA Club’s history has such an extravaganza as Ramlila been performed that too by over 80 colony children, on Dussehra eve. A large audience of members and guests sat jampacked transported into this beautiful and dearly loved epic tale of Ram Sita, showcasing all their adventures and ultimate victory, in a stunningly choreographed show with appropriate visuals lighting and music, climaxed with the final victory of good over evil as the wicked Ravan meets a glorious ecofriendly end bashed with flowers!
Little stars on stage rising to the occasion with huge rounds of applause and audience’s appreciation. Gracing the occasion and blessing the children were our VIP guests MLA Madan Lal, Councillor Anita Basoya, Sandeep Basoya and Abhishek Dutt also highly appreciative of the show.
A colorful Dandiya dance performance by ladies twirling and swirling, clicking their dandiya sticks in rhythmic unison climaxed the show to another round of applause.
The entire credit for this wonderful event goes to resident Saguna Singh the extremely talented creator of the show and her entire team with Akshar Bhan, the organizers, sponsors and the ever-helpful supportive mothers rallying around… and mostly to all the very special and dedicated children stars in their own right who within a month’s intense rehearsals even in midst of exams performed with such amazing confidence and excellence. Thanks also to the cooperation from hgs Vippan Bhasin of DCWA Club and its management and to Club President Veena Khanna for her immense support in holding the sacred Ramlila by children at the newly reclaimed ground for children adjoining the club on Dussehra eve is a most auspicious start indeed. Heartiest Congratulations to all and here’s to many more such fabulous shows and events!
