Grandparents are voices of the past and the door to the future. Their wisdom from a lifetime of experience should never be undervalued.
The Cultural Committee along with the residents of B XI Vasant Kunj celebrated Children’s Day on 14 Nov keeping this precious fact of life in mind.
The eventful evening witnessed melodious songs and mesmerizing dances by the grandparents and mothers. A beautiful poem, specially penned down by one of the residents as blessings for the children, was recited as a gift on the occasion of Children’s Day. Old songs and science tips shared by the grandparents kept everyone engaged and entertained.
A hot cup of tea with a box of snacks was a power booster for everyone.
Yes Bank, Vasant Kunj, also joined hands in this joyful event and co-sponsored it by distributing delicious snacks and surprise gifts to senior citizens and children.
The fun-filled evening culminated with an interesting game of Tambola enjoyed by all.
