Ask any parent or grandparent then every child is very special and every day is children’s day but 14th November is celebrated as Children’s Day. Suncity as a community is never behind in celebrating special days.
Children’s day was celebrated on 14th November at Park II of our colony.There was a painting competition for children of all age groups. A2 sheets were provided by the RWA while the children had to carry their colours and paints. The park was decorated with balloons and looked aesthetically very beautiful. children started coming by afternoon, 3 pm.There was no specific topic given to the children and their imagination was given a free rein. There were colours on the sheets, smiles on their faces and excitement in the air. Each sheet of paper was telling a story of imagination of the child. At the end of the competition the children were awarded prizes and were also given light refreshments. All in all, it was a lovely effort by the RWA and enjoyed thoroughly by the children. Each child is special and was made to feel so.
