Chhotu, Former Tata Sky Employee Turned Con Man

Beware of Fraudulent Activities

Residents of Gurugram, beware! Krishan Kalra, a resident of J-7/8A, DLF 2, has brought to light incidents involving an individual identified as Chhotu, formerly associated with Tata Sky. Despite his previous employment, Chhotu has resorted to deceitful practices, exploiting unsuspecting individuals for personal gain.

According to Mr. Kalra, Chhotu duped him into parting with Rs 1,500 under the pretence of procuring a new remote for Tata Play services on the evening of January 25th. Despite assurances of reimbursement via Paytm, Chhotu has failed to fulfil his promise, leaving Mr. Kalra rightfully aggrieved by this act of deception.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of exercising caution when dealing with individuals claiming affiliation with reputable organizations. While the amount may seem insignificant, the principle at stake is paramount – dishonesty and exploitation cannot go unchecked.

Mr. Kalra urges fellow residents to circulate Chhotu’s photograph and pertinent details within their networks, including domestic staff, to prevent further victims from falling prey to his schemes. Furthermore, he advocates for the exposure of Chhotu’s misdeeds, emphasizing the need for accountability and restitution.

In addition to his fraudulent activities, Chhotu stands accused of theft, with Mr. Kalra alleging the disappearance of a television set under suspicious circumstances. Such egregious behaviour warrants swift action, including reporting the matter to the authorities and disseminating Chhotu’s image and contact information to deter future illicit activities.

While Chhotu provided an address to Mr. Kalra, its veracity remains uncertain. Nevertheless, vigilance and collective action are imperative in safeguarding our communities against unscrupulous individuals like Chhotu.
