This month, Social Vision- committed to social change, a charitable institute encouraged the residents to donate their clothes, newspapers, books, footwear, food grains, toys and bicycles, crockery, stationery and furniture.
The initiative began with the motive to save the environment and serve the underprivileged. The drive was a huge success with donations that were pouring out of the donation box. Every resident participated in this drive and a mountain of books, clothes and stationery was collected which would further be reused in creative forms and a means to spread education among the underprivileged.
