NFC is surrounded by urban villages that are in sorry state of affairs as regards provision of upkeep and hygiene, sanitation, reasonable medical services etc. It has been noticed that many times, health-care expenses are key drivers for poverty and more so for families who come from economically weaker sections of society as they run from pillar to post for diagnostics, treatment, medicines, affordable solutions etc. It is evident that Health Justice can only be realized if vulnerable sections of the society get access to affordable health care.
NFC is proud that the colony is home to 2 ‘charitable clinics’ where people (from the surrounding urban villages, house-helps, staff, even residents) can visit for diagnosis and physiotherapy. They are:
(i) Charitable Homeopathy Clinic outside C-756, NFC (open from 10 am to 1 pm) from Monday to Saturday. Charges are Rs. 100/-
(ii) Charitable Physiotherapy Clinic at Mata Ka Mandir, NFC (open from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm) from Monday to Saturday. Charges are between Rs. 150/- to Rs. 250/-
(ii) Mohalla Clinic (under the Sukhdev Vihar Metro Station) open from 9 am to 1 pm from Monday to Saturday. This is free of charge for doctor consultation and medicines.
