PC Forum, under the guidance of Anita Mitroo, organized “Happy Woman’s Day” on March 8, 2024, in the Library of Pearl Court to acknowledge and appreciate the contribution of women in various fields. She was very ably assisted by Preety Tuteja and Radhika Kapoor, all residents of Pearl Court. The function started with the recitation of the “Mahamrityunjaya Mantra” by our 5-year-old Gayatri. Followed by a dance performance by our talented children. The theme of the function was the contribution of the female scientists who worked behind the scenes to make MOM, also known as the Mangalyaan mission, successful. A small skit prepared under the guidance of Geetu Taneja was performed to showcase the same. Two ladies of the Saheli group, along with Ruchi Mitroo, contributed by reciting poems and making the message clear that “this day belongs to every woman around us.” There was a surprise element too; a few of the male members had shared short audio notes for women in their lives. All this was followed by mouth-watering snacks and drinks.
